As I went to register on this space, Violet Portal, I found myself looking for a fresh, snazzy name. For a few days, I was stumped wondering what name would reflect my evolved self, my essence, and what I represent. I didn’t want a name that defined or boxed me into a particular typical label or role.
So I reflected on my core and dived deeper. I wanted a name that felt both ethereal and grounded. I explored a few possibilities:

Elysia : Blissful, graceful, ethereal (lovely but maybe a little too ethereal alone)

Magic Frequency Weaver : Weaving in and out of the vibration and love frequency of life. (I felt like it sounded like I am a wizard of sorts.)

Sacred Resonator : A soul that resonates with true, timeless essence and invites others to do the same. (As much as I am sacred in essence I felt it too holy)

Sacred Dancer : Dancing to and fro as a sacred being, in alignment with self and others. (Beautiful but I couldn’t quite resonate as being a dancer.)
Then, this snazzy name arrived: Aurea-Om. I like it.
Aurea conveys qualities of radiance, light, warmth, and preciousness, something valuable, and uplifting.
Om represents the primordial vibration of the universe. It signifies the essence of all existence, consciousness, and the interconnectedness of all things.
What this name means to me is that I am a living frequency of radiance, presence, flow, and creativity.
So it is Aurea-Om. I like it.
And interestingly, some few days ago, I fell in love with an organization’s name: Beyond Labels. How timely, given the theme I’ve been exploring. This week has been gently nudging me to pause and reflect on what a name holds, and what lies beyond it.
So I leave the question that has been on my heart this week: Who are we at the core of everything, beyond the hats we wear, the roles we play, and the labels or titles we and others assign? Beyond a name, and even the paradox of the names we choose, lies the truth of our essence: we are both definable and undefinable, expressed and yet infinite, always more than any label, title, name could contain.
